outside experience: GET OUTSIDE!

What are you doing reading this blog? It’s a holiday. Get outside. There’s no outside experience/reading response post this week, but if you insist on being inside why not read Thoreau’s “The Bean Field” from Walden? I have gardening on the brain today. To go with our personal project of a zero-waste diet, we’ve planted more crops in the garden: carrots, radishes, watercress & spinach. Our tomatoes, jalapeños & eggplants are still going strong, so today we’re going out to check on the sprouts, harvest some ‘maters & read weed (wishful thinking).
